The quality services offered at Fynmore Studios have spanned three generations beginning in 1953, when Jim Fynmore expanded his photography studio to include custom picture framing and art restoration. Entering the business in 1964, Ed Fynmore continued this tradition and in 1979 opened the present gallery location at 143 Main Street, Boonville, N.Y., offering custom picture framing, art restoration and conservation, original art, reproductions, posters, etchings and engravings. In 1990, he increased the availability of his services by opening a second gallery located at 8502 Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford, N.Y. His son, Eric Fynmore, joined the business in 1991 as third generation framer to carry the Fynmore's tradition into the 21st century. The past 50 years have seen many changes in the custom framing and art sales business. The Fynmore family is constantly striving to make available the most current design trends and styles.
